From a very early age I have been interested in photography. In high school I tried a few classes to help grow that creative passion, but ultimately ended up pursuing an education in Electrical Engineering that did not leave me much time to focus on photography and continue to hone my skills.

Years down the road after a nightmare experience of finding my mother deceased in 2017. I was dealing with some pretty bad PTSD, depression and anxiety attacks and was burning out of every job I held and most relationships I had. I knew something had to change and started selling everything I no longer found value in so I could fund my time out in nature where I felt comfortable. Naturally, photography came back into the picture as I was getting out more and wanting to share some of the places I was going. And it ended up being exactly what I needed.

In 2019 while dealing with injuries that kept me sidelined from almost everything I loved to do outside. A very generous donation and nudge in the right direction from Adam and Sara from Lucky Mud Disc Golf, I was back with a camera in hand and ready to shoot EVERYTHING. I just had to overcome a hip surgery at the age of 32, but after a lot of pain, hard-work and effort I haven’t looked back.

More photos, more hikes, more camping. MORE NATURE.

Currently, I spend most of my weekends photographing disc golf tournaments around Washington and the weekdays photographing landscapes and wildlife while spending as much time as I can outdoors.

STAY CURIOUS. KEEP EXPLORING.
